Ahmadiyya Muslim community to stage 2nd annual summer camp for children

The two-week camp is scheduled to run from July 8-18 from 2:00 pm – 5:30 pm daily.

Registration is free, while only children ages six to 12 years old are eligible.

“After a successful first summer camp in 2018, the community is organizing second annual summer camp for the children in our neighborhood,” the religious community stated.

“The camp aims to promote education and moral upbringing of the children in our neighborhood, and to turn them into positively contributing members of the society.

“Therefore, we invite members of local community to enroll their children in this two-week summer camp.”

The summer camp consists of two main activities: education and fun and games.

Lessons will be conducted by certified and professional teachers who “will teach the children their school syllabus in accordance with their age group.

The second portion of the day will be sports and fun activities for the children, under supervision of volunteers.

“The Ahmadiyya Muslim community is dedicated to serving humanity in every way possible,” said Tariq Azeem, the newly appointed head of the Jamaica group. “The Holy Quran, the holy book of Islam, guides mankind to worship God and serve humanity. Hence, Ahmadiyya Muslim community tries its level best to follow these injunctions and finds every opportunity to organize programmes which can benefit mankind.”
