The essential items were handed over to the hospital on April 11.
Dr. Yanique Brown, consultant paediatrician in charge of the neonatal care unit at the VJH said that the donations were very timely and the circuits will deliver oxygen to the patients.
She also added that the maternal hospital is truly grateful for the donation and it will go a far way in not only improving health care delivery, but enhancing the comfort level for patients.
The members of the foundation are comprised of fifth-year medical students at the University of the West Indies (UWI), Mona Campus.
Last year, the foundation donated four wheelchairs to the Kingston Public Hospital. The money was raised from events held at the Senior Common Room at UWI.
