In an advisory, the NWC said the five-day planned shutdown of the facility starting October 28, 2019 to November 1, 2019 is due to series of “hydrological testing activities” which forms part of its preventative maintenance operations.
“These activities will result in the shutdown of operations at the facility and the disruption of water supply to customers during the period,” the company stated. “Customers are being encouraged to store water for use during the disruption period specified.”
Areas to be affected include Claremont, Old Harbour Glades, Old Harbour Mews, Darlington Drive, Ainsley Lodge, Esquivel Villa, Stelton Drive, Marlie Acres, East Street and West Street, South Street and Belmont Park.
