Two arrested, illegal gun seized in Old Harbour raid

Two men were arrested and an illegal firearm seized during a police operation in Church Pen, Old Harbour, early this morning.

The suspects, both from Kingston addresses but recently relocated to the community, remain in custody at the Old Harbour Police Station. Their identities have been withheld pending formal charges.

Reports indicate that a police team conducted a pre-dawn raid at a Sharper Lane premises, where they recovered a .38 revolver loaded with three rounds of ammunition.

Investigators suspect the detained men are linked to a string of recent armed robberies in the Church Pen area.

Investigations continue.
