DAILY DEVOTION: Truth that you can trust

God has always told us the truth: about Himself, ourselves and our world. Truth can be cold and harsh though. So along with the truth from God comes the promised help from Him. He will tell us not only how bad we are, but also how we can become good and even better. The truth is He loves us more than we can ever imagine; the truth is He has a great plan for each one of us; the truth is we are not our best apart from His plan; the truth is even when we had messed up, He still came after us; the truth is He has paid the ultimate price for our restoration; the Truth is Jesus; and the truth is we can trust Him. Trust Him because when we are bad, He is working for our good; when we are broken, He's working for our healing; when we are lost, He is working to show us the way; when life throws us down, He's working to pick us up; even when we are dead, He's working for our life; when life challenges are coming from all directions, He's working all things together for our good. That is the truth that we can trust.

Job 23:10: But He knows the way that I take and when He hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.
