Girl reported missing found in Spanish Town

Wellington was reported missing after leaving home on Christmas Eve.

However, she was located in Spanish Town today, a family member told Old Harbour News in an update.

She said Wellington, who is her cousin, was in good health but would not go into specifics regarding the teen’s whereabouts.

The police have been informed she said, while noting that Old Harbour News’ publishing of the story 24 hour earlier played a significant role in reuniting Wellington with her family.

The McCook Pen, St Catherine resident, who lives with her grandmother, told relatives that she was going to a family cake sale event the day before Christmas.

She did not return home though and despite several calls to her cellphone, no one was able to contact her until today.
