A truck trapped in flood waters at Rasta Corner in Freetown, Clarendon
Information reaching Old Harbour News is that between the popular Rasta Corner and the gully bordering St Catherine and Clarendon at the Salt River Road traffic signal, motorists are unable to proceed either way.
From about four o’clock in the afternoon rising flood waters associated with the passage of Tropical Storm Grace, caught motorists traversing the primary thoroughfare off-guard.
IMPASSABLE: Sandy Bay to Freetown, Clarendon at Rasta Corner. Corridor is flooded. Avoid this area. Use Highway 2000 until further advised.

Up to the time of publishing this article motorists remain trapped.
A resident living in the area informed Old Harbour News that firefighters came to Rasta Corner but could do nothing because a truck and a bus had stalled in the waters at the narrow bridge.
It is advised that motorists planning to traverse this section of the roadway to use Highway 2000.
