Gridlock on Old Harbour Road after trailer careened into bar

There have been no reports of any injury.

According sources the front tyre of the truck blew out causing the driver to lose control of the vehicle which rammed into a pub in the vicinity of Sweetsop Lane, Church Pen.

As expected the situation caused a massive pile up of traffic both sides of the accident scene from about 4:00 pm today, causing lengthy delays for the motoring public.

Up to the time of publishing there were long lines in both directions, compounded by the lack of viable alternate routes despite Old Harbour being the fastest growing township in country.

The police are on the scene but can do nothing more to alleviate the traffic congestion, given the limited space in that area.
