JPS issues planned power outage for SW St Catherine

This, according to the Jamaica Public Service (JPS), is due to its team undertaking maintenance works previously scheduled.

Areas to be affected are McCook Pen, Spring Village, New Harbour villages, Church Pen, Marlie Mount, Bushy Park, Old Harbour Bay and Old Harbour town centre.

Residents in these areas need not to become too agitated by the disruption in power supply, however, as estimated period for the outage is two hours, between 5:00 am and 7:00 am.

The JPS has apologized for the inconvenience caused.
