According to the police the child gave his name as Antwoine Lewis and stated that he is 14 years old and lives with his family.
Antwoine, the said the police, was found wandering in Old Harbour and brought to the station yesterday.
They say, he gave his mother’s name as Leticia Douglas, but was unable to provide any further details.
Anyone who may be able to assist the police in reuniting this child with his family is asked to contact the Old Harbour Police at 876-983-2255, Police 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
It is uncertain if Antoine was ever found by those in his care. One Old Harbour News reader shared this morning a previous missing person report of the young man.
Further checks by Old Harbour News gleaned that In April of this year an Ananda Alert was issued by the police and the Child Protection & Family Services Agency (CPFSA) for the same young man based the photograph shared with the public. He was listed as 16 years old and a resident of Paradise Court, Kingston, while the spelling of his first name is Antwone without the letter ‘i’ at that time.
The police have since filed two missing person reports for Antwone, in June and August, prior to him being found wandering in Old Harbour yesterday.
15-year-old Antwone Lewis of Paradise Court, Kingston 12 is missing. He was last seen on June 07, 2022.
