Five persons are now in custody after cops assigned to the Old Harbour Police Station seized three illegal guns during a police spot check early this morning.
Information reaching Old Harbour News is that about 1:00 am officers on duty stopped a Toyota Probox motor car with five persons on board along the Old Harbour Bay main road in the vicinity of New Harbour Village III.
A search of the vehicle and its occupants was conducted by the police during which three firearms where recovered.
All occupants, which included a woman, were then taken to the station where they are presently being held pending further investigation.
